Our Crew

We are Jan and Paul Hallman and have been boating together for over 20 years and during that time, we have had three different boats. Now our boat is a 2007 Carver MY and we called it OUT TO SEE III.

In 2021, we took a 31 day cruise from Midland, Ontario to visit both Montreal and Ottawa and then back home by way of the Rideau and the Trent Severn Waterway systems. During our journey we passed through approximately 150 Locks and having "Mates Onboard" will sure made it easier to make it through them safely. 

​

So now, in 2024, we are leaving on a shorter cruise from Midland, Ontario with final destination being New York City, and travelling together, for the better part of the journey, will be the same crew as our 2021 trip.

Our 17 year old grandson Kyle will be our "Swabbie" and he will be responsible for keeping the deck clean and the dingy OUT SEEIN' ready to venture into areas OUT TO SEE will not go. Cynthia, is a good friend, and her main task will be to ensure we have adequate flavored or "au naturel" drinks available at any given time of the day and to be sure that the dishes are always washed and the Galley tidy. She is better known as "Alice" onboard..

Otherwise, we are simply OUT TO SEE  heading to the BIG APPLE.
