Our Boat - OUT TO SEE III
OUT TO SEE III is our 43 foot, 2007 power boat built by Carver Yachts. With the hydraulic swim platform it has an overall length of 51 feet and a beam (width) of 14 feet. When loaded with fuel and water it weights approximately 40,000 lbs. so it takes a lot of energy to push through rough waters. It is powered by two Volvo D6 - 375 HP Diesel engines and is hungry for fuel but when we simply motor along at a relaxing 10 knots speed it saves us fuel and makes it much more economical to operate.

Our boat has two state rooms, each with a head (that's a washroom in normal terms) and a shower. The salon (living room) is roomy and provides all the comforts of home as we relax or watch satellite TV. The galley (kitchen) is outfitted with a full size refrigerator, cooktop, microwave and a countertop oven - in other words almost all the comforts we need.

The lounge and helm provides an abundance of seating for relaxing and enjoying the views as we travel the waterways and the double lounge cushions on the bow makes it an even better place to enjoy the sunshine and fresh spray of the waters. With full air conditioning & heating we enjoy relaxation no matter what the weather.

Our Tender - OUT SEEIN'

OUT SEEIN' is our 14 foot inflatable tender (dingy) built by Highfield and sold by CO2 Inflatables in Midland. It is fitted with a 60 HP Yamaha outboard engine and can scoot across the water as speeds up to 40 mph (it also depends on how many people are on board at the time) but it allows us to get to places quickly to do some adventure hunting. Four people in the tender is a comfortable ride.
Our Swabbie has his boat license and will enjoy being the Tender Captain when we venture around the waterways looking for new sights or simply going for a refreshing swim.
We are cautious when we use our tender - always carry spare fuel, make sure we have a full safety kit and we always wear our life jackets.
